Man seriously injured after being struck on Interstate 90

KINGSVILLE TOWNSHIP — A New York man was seriously injured when he was struck by a tractor-trailer truck while walking on Interstate 90 early Friday morning, according to the Ohio State Highway Patrol.
Alejandro Burr, 25, of Alfred, N.Y., was taken to UH Conneaut Medical Center by ambulance, then transferred to another hospital, troopers said. Burr was walking in the eastbound right lane of I-90, about two-tenths of a mile east of mile post 235, when he was hit by a truck driven by William Frechette of Arkport, N.Y., troopers said.
Troopers were dispatched to the scene at 3:50 a.m. Burr’s medical condition was not immediately known Friday.
