GENEVA TOWNSHIP — Fire damaged a mobile home in Geneva Township early Friday morning, firefighters said.
The blaze caused extensive damage to a home at 3583 Austin Road, Lot. 13, inside the Austin Manor Estates, firefighters said. No injuries were reported.
Personnel and equipment from Geneva and Geneva-on-the-Lake departments were dispatched to the scene at 4:22 a.m., according to a report. The last unit cleared the scene nearly three hours later.
Fire caused an estimated $10,000 damage to the structure and another $10,000 damage to contents, firefighters said.
A fire report did not identify the occupant or indicate if anyone was home at the time of the alarm. Neighbors indicated Friday morning that someone was present when the fire began.
The report did not indicate where in the mobile home the fire may have started. Cause of the blaze is undetermined, firefighters said.
