Village Councilor Steve Buchheit brought up the traffic problem at Tuesday's council session. Council discussed having the police department be more visible during peak hours and issue citations for offenders. Buchheit said very visible four white large stop lines were recently painted on the two major highways, but it hasn't help change people's driving behavior. When people pull up to the corner instead of behind the stop lines, it hinders trucks making a turn in any direction.
