Published May 12, 2008 11:13 pm - An open house to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the Conneaut Public Library, 304 Buffalo St., will be held all day Monday. Open house will mark library’s anniversary Star Beacon CONNEAUT — An open house to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the Conneaut Public Library, 304 Buffalo St., will be held all day Monday.
The event stretches from 9:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. Special events and giveaways will mark the occasion. Commemorative bookmarks will be handed out, and prizes will be awarded. Harpist Sue Kreig-Shugerts will perform between 5 and 7 p.m. Students in kindergarten through grade 12 are invited to submit drawings of the library. Their work will be displayed in the library on Monday. Each drawing must have the student’s name, grade, school and telephone number written on the back. All participants will receive coupons for complimentary Domino’s Pizza products. Visitors may vote for their favorite drawings, and the top vote-getters in three categories will see their work transformed into bookmarks.
