LENOX TOWNSHIP — A complaint about loud music at 4 a.m. Sunday at a supposed-to-be empty farmhouse at 3099 Lenox-New Lyme Road led sheriff’s deputies to a teen after-prom drinking party.
Deputies Ronald Siebenek, Tony Mino and Rick Hazeltine rounded up the 24 Chardon area teenagers found inside the house.
Upon questioning a few of the teens, deputies learned the group got to the empty farmhouse before 4 a.m., began drinking and playing loud music. They had all attended Chardon High School’s prom Saturday night before coming out to the Ashtabula County house.
Three adults, Jeffrey Buehner, 18, of 11193 Wilson Mills Road, Chardon; Andrew Znidarsic, 18, of 11435 Woodiebrook Dr., Chardon; and Anthony Teresi, 18, of 12170 Burlington Glen Dr., Chardon, were cited for contributing to the delinquency of juveniles. They are to appear in Ashtabula County Juvenile Court.
The house is owned by the parents of an 18-year-old Chardon student. She answered the door when deputies arrived to investigate what was going on, deputies said.
The woman’s parents later told deputies they had no knowledge their daughter was using the house for a party.
