Motorcyclist injured looking at covered bridge Star Beacon PLYMOUTH TOWNSHIP - - A motorcyclist was injured Saturday afternoon while visiting covered bridges with fellow motorcyclists, the Ohio State Highway Patrol reports.
The man was traveling with four other motorcyclists on State Road, north of Seven Hills Road, when the lead cyclist slowed down to look at a street sign, OHP reports. By the time the last motorcyclist came over the crest of the hill, he had to brake hard to avoid hitting the group, but he lost control of his motorcycle. The motorcycle slid on the asphalt, and the motorcyclist landed on his face, OHP reports. The motorcyclist, who was wearing a helmet, was taken to the Ashtabula County Medical Center for treatment.
