Ashtabula County picks Ohio company to protect data

ASHTABULA — The county recently chose an Ohio technology company to help protect country records.
Cott Systems, of Worthington, was selected because of its experience in helping county recorders across the nation increase accuracy and enhance office productivity.
“We are delighted to be working with Cott Systems after the long process of searching for a new land-records software provider. My staff and I are very pleased to be Cott’s 200th customer on Resolution,” said Judy Barta, county recorder. “Our office now has vastly improved flexibility for the daily workflow, as well as new tools for achieving improved access to the historical records.”
Barta added that Cott’s expertise in data conversion alleviated the apprehension which might occur when changing software vendors. “We’ve had nothing but best practices during conversion of our data and images into the new system. The specialists at Cott Systems did an excellent job with the migration process, and enhanced the user’s ability to search property fields and view images. I couldn’t be happier with the results,” she said.
“It is always exciting to begin working with a new county”, said Gary Ross, Cott Systems President. “Having grown up in Ashtabula County makes this even more special to me.”
