STUART, Fla. — Charles Milton Sonsteby, age 82, of Stuart, Fla., passed away Wednesday, Nov. 21, 2012, at The Treasure Coast Hospice Residence, in Stuart.

Born in Portsmith, Ohio, he had resided in Stuart for the past 40 years, moving to this area from Ashtabula, Ohio. Charles was a U.S. Army Korean Conflict Veteran.

Prior to retiring, he worked in the constuction industry for many years as a Millwright. He was a life member of The Elks Lodge, A& FM The Kentucky Colonels, & Millwrights Local #1871.

Surviving is his wife of 62 years, Elsie Sonsteby of Stuart; two daughters, Kim Sonsteby Ribble of Powdersville, S.C. and Trudi Sonsteby Horne of Trinity, Fla.; a son, Charles Sonsteby of Dallas, Texas; and three grandchildren.

Services will be held at a later date.
