GENEVA — Mildred H. Henry, age 90, of Geneva, Ohio, passed away Monday, Feb. 4, 2013, at UH Geneva Medical Center.
Born Nov. 18, 1922, in Cleveland, Ohio, she was a daughter of Louise (Bohnsack) and James Dennis. Mildred married Cecil W. Henry in Austinburg, Ohio, on Sept. 18, 1946. She was a 1941 graduate of Jefferson High School.
She was a member of Geneva First United Methodist Church, Mary-Martha Circle of the Geneva First United Methodist Church, Buckeye and Austinburg Grange, charter member of the Harpersfield Cinder-Ellas, former Harpersfield Zoning Secretary, and American Merchant Marine.
Mildred helped her husband on the family grape and dairy farm, and loved camping and traveling with her husband to all the lower 48 states. She also enjoyed square dancing, bowling and watching Cleveland sports.
She is survived by her sons, Delno (Jeanne) Henry, Clifford (Lynda) Henry and Everett (Julie) Henry, all of Harpersfield Township, Ohio; grandchildren, Brian (Carmel), Frank (Angela), Joe, Gregory (Suzie), Jon (Rachel), David (Andrea) and Rachel (Larry Donohoe); and eight great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Cecil W. Henry; her parents; and brothers, Charles, James and Robert Dennis.
Friends will be received 4 to 7 p.m., Thursday, Feb. 7th, at THE BEHM FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 175 S. Broadway, Geneva, Ohio.
Funeral Service will be 10 a.m., Friday, Feb. 8th, at the Funeral Home, with the Rev. Bruce Hitchcock, of Geneva First United Methodist Church, officiating. Final resting place will be at Harpersfield Cemetery in Harpersfield Township.
