AUSTINBURG — Mina D. Colucci, age 86, died Wednesday, Jan. 2, 2013, at the Austinburg Nursing and Rehab Center, where she had been a resident for the past two years.
Born March 31, 1926, in Syracuse, N.Y., she was the daughter of John J. and Doris (Bates) Glatz.
Mrs. Colucci was a former telephone operator with Ohio Bell until her retirement in 1978.
She moved to West Palm Beach, Fla., with her husband Nicholas and remained there until after his death in 1992, when she moved back to Ashtabula.
Survivors include her brother, Gordan Glatz; daughters, Terry (Ronald) Parsons of Summerfield, Fla., and Lisa (Eric) Tanski of Stow, Ohio; her son, David (Karen) Colucci of Ashtabula; and grandchildren, Bonnie Huntsman, Ronnie Parsons, Dennis (Lisa) Colucci, Benjamin Colucci and Patrick and Maria Tanski.
She was preceded in death by her parents; step-mother, Alberta Glatz; sisters, Barbara and Marcia; brother, Jerry; and husband, Nicholas A. Colucci.
Funeral Service will be 1:30 p.m., Saturday, Jan. 5th, at GUERRIERO FUNERAL HOME, 1550 West 19th St., Ashtabula, with Deacon Richard Johnson, of Our Lady of Peace Parish, officiating. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Memory Gardens.
Visitation will be on Saturday from 11:30 a.m. until the time of the Service at the Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the APL, Home Safe Inc. or Tridia Hospice.
