JEFFERSON — Nora A. Romanoski, age 87, of Susan Drive, Jefferson, died Friday afternoon, Dec. 28, 2012, at Jefferson Healthcare Center, where she had been a patient the past month.
She was born May 9, 1925, in Moundsville, W.Va., the daughter of Ruel and Anna (Ramsey) Yoho and had been a resident of Jefferson since 2003, coming from Eastlake. She was married to Andrew J. Romanoski on July 28, 1949.
Mrs. Romanoski enjoyed crocheting, sewing and reading.
She is survived by two grandchildren, Julie A. Leonard of Ft. Worth, Texas and Ryan T. Munthe of Poughquag, N.Y.; five great-grandchildren, Megan Lamey, R. J. Munthe, Aliysa Damon, Ethan Munthe and Kaden Leonard; and a sister, LaVerne Rogerson of Gibsonia, Pa.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Andrew in 2006; a daughter, Luella A. Myers in 2006; a brother, Hazen Yoho; and a sister, Hollis Haynes.
Graveside Services will be held 1 p.m., Thursday, Jan. 3rd, at Halcyon Hills Memorial Park in Sherrard, W.Va.
Calling Hours will be from 3 to 5 p.m., Wednesday, Jan. 2nd, at the Jefferson Home of FLEMING & BILLMAN FUNERAL DIRECTORS, 49 W. Jefferson St., Jefferson.
