WILLOUGHBY — Marija Susec, age 68, of Willoughby, Ohio, and formerly of Geneva, died Saturday, Dec. 8, 2012, at the Emeritus in Willoughby.
Born July 21, 1944, in Brezovi Dol, Solvenia, she was the daughter of Frank and Marija Miklic. On Nov. 25, 1967, she married Otto C. Susec at St. Vitus Church in Cleveland, Ohio. She lived in Cleveland for 21 years then moved to Geneva with her husband and lived there for 24 years.
Marija loved spending time with her family.
She is a member of the Assumption Church in Geneva.
Survivors include three sons, Dr. Otto (Jayne) Susec of Evansville, Ind., Martin Susec of Hillard, Ohio, and Thomas (Christine) Susec of Lebanon, Ohio; seven grandchildren, Mandy, Lexi, Abigail. Josephine, Lidia, Martin and Marissa; and a sister, Ivanka Turk of Euclid, Ohio.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Otto C. Susec in 1996; and a brother, Frank Miklic.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11 a.m., Friday, Dec. 14th, at Assumption Church, 594 W. Main St., Geneva, Ohio, with the Rev. Father Melvin Rusnak as celebrant. Burial will be in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Geneva.
Calling Hours will be Thursday, Dec. 13th, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Geneva Home of FLEMING & BILLMAN FUNERAL DIRECTORS, INC., 323 S. Broadway, Geneva, Ohio.
