JEFFERSON — Barbara Jane Fusco, age 64, died Tuesday, Nov. 6, 2012, at her home with her loving family at her side.

The daughter of Delbert and Eleanor (Hackathorn) Artman, she was born March 30, 1948, in Ashtabula, Ohio, where she remained a lifelong area resident. On Nov. 27, 1975, she married John ”Jack” Fusco and they celebrated thirteen years of marriage prior to his death in 1988.

Barb was an eighteen-year employee of Worthington Cylinders and truly loved her job in the stockroom, where she made many friends over the years.

A wonderful cook and baker, family gatherings were never complete without her world famous baked beans and apple pie. She enjoyed a good game of solitaire and making quilts. Her true enjoyment came from being with her family and friends. She was teaching her granddaughters how to bake and make quilts. Each of her children and grandchildren received quilts from Barbara that were made with love and care; these quilts are the treasures of their lives.

A wonderful mom, grandma, great-grandma, sister and friend, Barb will be remembered for her great strengths and courage, and her ability to love unconditionally.

She is survived by her children: Lisa (Ray) Burns of Windridge, Pa., Richard Fusco of Jefferson, Jerry (Julie) Fusco and Shannon (Jeremy) Grady Sr., all of Ashtabula; grandchildren, Andrew, Kurtis, Michala, Sara, Kaycee, Montanna, Abbey, Makenzee, Grace, Jeremy Jr., Desiree, Natasha, Shawn and Mandi; great-grandson, Tavion; her sisters, Louise Pack of Saybrook and Margie (Ron) Kelsey of Jefferson; brothers, Melvin (Judy) Artman and Duane (Linda) Artman, both of North Kingsville; sisters-in-law, Debbie Artman of Ashtabula and Brenda Artman of Kingsville; brother and sister-in-law, Gary (Lenore) Fusco of Ashtabula; her many loving nieces and nephews; and her many friends.
