LENOX TOWNSHIP — Leslie L. (Pirrone) Carlson, age 65, of Footville-Richmond Road, Lenox Township, Ohio, died unexpectedly Monday morning, Dec. 2, 2013, at her residence.
She was born Sept. 20, 1948, in Cleveland, Ohio, the daughter of the late Frank and Lenore (Brush) Pirrone, living much of her life in Bedford and Valley View, moving to Lenox Township in 2002. She was a graduate of Bedford High School. Leslie married David R. Carlson on Dec. 8, 2003, in St. Lucia, West Indies.
Mrs. Carlson was a retired assistant treasurer from the Cuyahoga Heights school system.
She was a member and officer of Jefferson Eagle Aerie Lodge #3881. Leslie loved the outdoors, enjoyed walking, gardening, camping, motorcycling, riding ATV’s, golfing and archery. She also loved doing crafts, martial arts, traveling, vacations and her greatest joy was her family.
Leslie is survived by her husband, David; three children, Anthony R. (Halle) Nero of Valley View, Michelle L. (Bob) Kucera of Independence and Gina M. (Ron) Kucera of Broadview Heights; a step-daughter, Hope M. Carlson (Duane Ringling) of Peoria, Ariz.; eight grandchildren, Brittany, Kayla, Robert, Michael, Nicholas, Dominic, Brooklyn and Jordon; a sister, Judy Grimm of Parma; and a brother, Frank (Nancy) Pirrone of Macedonia.
Funeral Services will be held 10 a.m., Saturday, Dec. 7th, at the Jefferson Home of FLEMING & BILLMAN FUNERAL DIRECTORS & CREMATORY, INC., 49 W. Jefferson St., Jefferson, with the Rev. Fr. John Sheridan, of St. Joseph Calasanctius Church, officiating. Burial will be in Lenox Center Cemetery.
Calling Hours will be held TODAY, Friday, Dec. 6th, from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Funeral Home.
