ERIE, Pa. — Lloyd Eugene Mavros, age 77, of West Springfield, Pa., died Tuesday, August 27, 2013, at UPMC Hamot Medical Center, Erie, Pa., from injuries sustained in an automobile accident on August 17, 2013.

Lloyd was born on Feb. 29, 1936, in Everett, Pa., the son of George and Elizabeth (Ruby) Mavros. He attended Albion High School and later worked for many years at White Consolidated as a machinist until his retirement.

He was a member of Kidder Corner Church in Albion, Pa., and was also an avid McDonald’s breakfast club member.

Lloyd is survived by his wife, Sharon L. (Malone) Mavros, whom he married Dec. 28, 1957; daughters, Kathy (Scott) Ogrodnichek of North Kingsville, Ohio, and Melanie (Bill) McAdoo of Conneaut, Ohio; grandchildren, Demie Barker of Lake City, Pa., Tiffany Ogrodnichek and Stephanie Ogrodnichek, both of North Kingsville, Ohio, and Mercedes Garbutt of Savannah, Ga.; and two great-grandchildren, Sabastian and Marci Barker.

Lloyd was preceded in death by his parents.

Calling Hour will be held TODAY, Friday, August 30th, from 9 to 10 a.m. at the RAISIAN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 581 Harbor St., Conneaut, Ohio.

Funeral Service will be held 10 a.m., TODAY, Friday, August 30th, at the RAISIAN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, with the Rev. George Walker, of Kidder Corner Church, officiating. Burial will follow at East Conneaut Cemetery, Furnace Road, Conneaut.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Kidder Corner Church, Cherry Hill Road, Albion, Pa. 16401.
