CONNEAUT — Wilma A. (Mumea) Formoso Walker, age 82, of Conneaut, Ohio, passed away Friday, August 16, 2013.
She was born April 19, 1931, in Independence, Ohio, the daughter of Orrin and Lillian (Fischer) Mumea.
An area resident since 1969, Wilma enjoyed life as a loving homemaker, mother to her children, and was a big Cleveland Indians fan.
Wilma was a member of the former First United Methodist Church.
Survivors include three daughters, Linda (Rick) Morse of El Paso, Texas, Bonnie Borso of Ashtabula, Ohio and Victoria (Mark) Eaton of Conneaut, Ohio; four sons, Reid Walker of Conneaut, Ohio, Richard (Dianna) Walker of Conneaut, Ohio, David Walker (Jessica) of Ft. Lauderdale, Fla. and Robert Walker of Conneaut, Ohio; 21 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Stanley R. Walker, whom she married Dec. 20, 1969; a son, Raymond Walker; a daughter, Alice DeMoss; great-grandsons, Michael Walker and Reid Owen Baldwin; a sister, Bonnie Pulliam; a brother, Mark Mumea; and a nephew, Stephen Pulliam.
There will be a Memorial Service at 4 p.m., Tuesday, August 20th, at The Rock Christian Fellowship Church, 256 1/2 Liberty St., Conneaut, Ohio, with Pastor James Friend officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of the Western Reserve. Envelopes will be available at the service.
