GENEVA — Sophia Payne, age 93, passed away Tuesday, March 11, 2014, at The Sanctuary, Geneva, Ohio.
Born April 13, 1920, in Cleveland, Ohio, Sophia was the daughter of Joseph and Mary A. (Musal) Schultz and resided in Geneva most of her life.
Sophia was a secretary for Coca Cola Fisher-Spiegel Plant in Geneva.
She was a member of the The Madison Country Club. She enjoyed golfing, bridge and playing cards.
Survivors include a niece, Diane Whitsitt of Madison; and nephews, Mark Whitsitt of Madison, William Schultz of Florida, Eugene Schultz of Concord and Buddy Schultz.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth; her parents; brothers, Edward, William and Frank; and sisters, Helen Kasper, Lucille Getzy and Josephine “JO” Barnum.
Calling Hour will be 10 to 11 a.m., Thursday, March 13th, at WALKER FUNERAL HOME, 828 Sherman St., Geneva, Ohio. Interment will be at Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Geneva.
Funeral Service will be 11 a.m., directly after Calling Hour at the Funeral Home.
