GENEVA — Diane F. Manes, age 69, of Ashtabula, Ohio, passed away Thursday, May 9, 2013, at Rae-Ann Geneva Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
Born Nov. 28, 1943, in Willoughby, Ohio, she was a daughter of Charles L. and Marion G. (Nye) Spoor.
For 15 years, she was a Lab Tech at the Cocoa Cola Plant in Geneva.
She liked cooking and canning and enjoyed her grandchildren.
Survivors include her children, Ed (Jackie) Spoor of Harpersfield Township, Laura (Paul) Leider of Geneva Township and Sandra LaMarsh of Ashtabula; several grand and great-grandchildren; and brothers, Tommy (Ava) Spoor and Allen (Jo Ann) Spoor, both of Geneva and Clarence (Bonnie) Spoor of Saybrook Township.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Edwin “Ed” Manes; son, Rick LaMarsh; her parents; brothers, Charles “Buddy” and Gary Spoor; and sisters, Lucille Kelly and Joanne Potter.
Calling Hours will be 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Saturday, May 11th, at WALKER FUNERAL HOME, 828 Sherman St., Geneva, Ohio, with interment following in Evergreen Cemetery, Geneva.
