He was also very passionate about music and reading. He had a fondness for the OLD WEST. His favorite author was Louis L’Amour.
Ron was a wonderful cook and was famous for his french toast, homemade soups and perch fries. He loved his hoodies and his orange FILAS. He made “wicked cool” chainmail jewelry. He loved learning new things.
Ron (“Moon”, Dad, Ronnie, “Lil Ronnie”, “RoundEye”) was a patient, warm and caring man with a big heart and a wonderful sense of humor. He was lighthearted, loved to laugh, and was willing to help everyone. He touched many lives and will be “wicked” hugely missed by his loving wife, Tammy M. “Squirrely” (Stambaugh); his adoring son, Hunter; his sisters, April (Tom) Hunt of Villa Rica, Ga., Rhonda (Steve) Foster of Ashby, Mass., Tracy (Roy) Kok of Norton, Mass., and Kelly Carignan of Salsbury, Mass.; his brothers, Clifford (Connie) Emus of Conneaut, Ohio, Paul (Tathi) Emus of Tampa, Fla., Seth Emus of Tampa, Fla., and Jamie (Crystal) Emus of Conneaut, Ohio; his sisters, Dawn Childs of Conneaut, Ohio, and Rae (Mike) Bulmann of Detroit, Mich.; his aunt and uncle, Ralph and Marilyn Emus of Conneaut, Ohio, who raised him; many aunts and uncles; 26 nieces and nephews; three great-nieces and nephews; one great-niece on the way; his loving “Thor, Loki and Spooky”; many lifelong friends and many new friends.
Ron has found peace and serenity and has joined his parents, Ronald W. Emus II and Diane (Meehan) Emus; his Memere, Nana Tooley, Grandpa and Nana Meehan; his brother, Mark Emus; his sister, Joy Emus Heasley; Stubby K, Blue, and many other family and friends in Heaven.
Calling Hours will be 5 to 8 p.m. Friday, Jan. 31st, at WALKER FUNERAL HOME, 828 Sherman St., Geneva, Ohio.
Service will be 11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 1st, at the Funeral Home, with Roger Zale, Chaplain of Hospice of Western Reserve, officiating.
