CLEVELAND — Nancy J. (Madden) Boyle, age 88, of Perry Township, Ohio, formerly of East Trumbull, Ohio, died Thursday, Oct. 3, 2013, at Hospice House in Cleveland.
She was born Dec. 28, 1924, in Adrian, W.Va.
Mrs. Boyle had been a member of Sacred Heart Church in Rock Creek, Assumption Church in Geneva, St. Patrick’s Church in Thompson and Divine Word Church in Kirtland. She had been a member of the East Trumbull Flower Club; had volunteered at the Assumption Church Elementary School; and enjoyed cookie baking and canning preserves.
Survivors include her daughters, Ann Boyle (Kenneth Seckler) and Betsy (James) McMillan; sons, Joseph (Florence) Boyle and Thomas (Shreeta Acharya) Boyle; 11 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; siblings, William “Billy” Madden, Sister Elizabeth Madden and Michael “Mickey” Madden.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph P. Boyle; parents, Martin and Mary Madden; and one sister and six brothers.
Funeral Mass will be celebrated 12 p.m., Monday, Oct. 7th, at St. Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church, 8560 Mentor Ave., Mentor, Ohio 44060. Please meet at the church. Interment will be in All Souls Cemetery, Chardon.
Family will receive friends from 2 to 5 p.m., Sunday, Oct. 6th, at BRUNNER SANDEN DEITRICK FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATION CENTER, 8466 Mentor Ave., Mentor.
