Marlene Lucy Knight, age 70, of Stoneyridge Drive, passed away Thursday, Sept. 27, 2012, at her home.
She was born Feb. 24, 1942, in Columbus, the daughter of George and Esther (Plant) Tillman and had been a northeast Ohio resident for the past 25 years.
Prior to her retirement, she worked as a waitress. A catholic by faith, she loved cats and was an avid collector of many things.
Her survivors include her daughter, Donna Hamm of Geneva; her former son-in-law, Charles Hamm of Solon; grandchildren, Terry Donald (Amanda) Hamm and Terese Payne; great-grandchildren, Trenton and Brody Hamm; three sisters, Susan Gale Drummond and Amy Gale Carmine, both of Columbus, and Cynthia Masteller of Akron; and other family members, Ed and Ann Johnson and family and Paul Hamm.
She was preceded in death by her sister, Lou Ann Gale; and her parents.
A Memorial Service will be held 1 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 20th, at St. Joseph Cemetery Chapel, Carpenter Road, Ashtabula. Burial will follow.
No calling hours will be observed.
