ASHTABULA — Virginia L. Malkie, age 67, of W. 8th St., Ashtabula, died Tuesday, May 21, 2013, at the Cleveland Clinic in Cleveland, Ohio.
She was born Sept. 15, 1945, in Jefferson, Ohio, the daughter of Edward and Eleanor (Stasny) Lawrence and had been a lifetime area resident.
She was a graduate of Rowe High School and was a Hair Stylist for different salons in the area until her retirement due to ill health. She and her husband enjoyed golfing and traveling.
Surviving her is her husband, Carl Malkie; her children, David Bagnall, Sheri Wilson, Woodrow Bagnall, Douglas Bagnall, Deborah Taylor, Kristen Adkins, Carl Hresan and Tim Hresan; 20 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; four sisters, Ann Nye, Linda Loehr, Ruth Fink and Mary Bagnall; and a brother, Ed Lawrence.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Funeral Service will be held 1 p.m., Thursday, May 23rd, at Messiah Lutheran Church, 615 W. Prospect Road, Ashtabula, with the Rev. Michael Meranda officiating. Burial will take place later at Oakdale Cemetery.
Calling Hour will be from 12 p.m. until time of Service, Thursday, at the Church.
