TAMPA, Fla. — Veronica (Long) Peebles, age 52, of Deltona, Fla., formerly of Geneva, Ohio, passed away Thursday, May 2, 2013, from lymphoma cancer at the Moffitt Cancer Center in Tampa, Fla.
Born April 2, 1961, in Geneva, Ohio, she was the daughter of Joyce and Gerald Long. She was a resident of Ashtabula for 30 years before moving to Florida 22 years ago. In 1995, she married Gary Peebles in Titusville, Fla.
Veronica worked for the Banc of America Insurance Services.
She enjoyed reading and spending time with her family.
Survivors include her mother, Joyce L. Long; sisters, Victoria (William) Bessant of Ashtabula, Carol (Butch) Taylor of Pennsylvania and Jerrilynn (Michael) Stacey of Florida; a brother, Robert G. Long of Florida; two children, Natasha Llewellyn (Adam) Callier and Dennis J. (Jessi) Llewellyn, both of Florida; grandchildren, Trinity, Chloe and Samuel Llewellyn; and nieces and nephews, Heather Rea, Tiffany Llewellyn, Sara Llewellyn, Darian, Grace and Jacen Long, and Lawton, Lain and Makamie Stacey.
She was preceded in death by her father, Gerald G. Long, and her loving husband of 18 years, Gary F. Peebles.
Funeral Service will be 6:30 p.m. on Friday, May 10th, at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME of Orlando, Florida.
Calling Hours will be 4 to 6 p.m. on Friday at the Funeral Home.
