Louise Helen Buckley, age 93, died peacefully at home on Thursday, May 29, 2014, with her family by her side.

Born on June 11, 1920, in Conneaut, Ohio, she was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Julia (Petrocelli) White; her late husband, Russell Buckley, whom she married on July 29, 1939; brothers, Charles White, Joseph White, Anthony White, and Rev. Brother Valentino Bianco, Alexian Brothers, CFA; her sister, Catherine Rich; and infant grandson, Joseph Law Millberg.

Louise worked at The Canning Company during WWII, Edgewood Dry Cleaners, Hill's Department Store, and retired from Ashtabula General Hospital in 1995. She enjoyed her flower gardens, cleaning houses, making lemon meringue pies, and most of all, shopping, which is how she acquired her nickname "Gypsy". Louise enjoyed spending time with her family and loved her rides down Lake Shore Park to see the peacocks and enjoyed the sun. She was also a member of Our Lady of Peace Parish.

Louise is survived by daughters, Christine (Kenneth) Bodine of North Kingsville and Doreen (Robert) Barlow of Ashtabula; grandchildren, Julie (Mark) Naskali, Gregory (Samantha) Dreslinski, Beau (Shawna) Millberg and Shelly (Marc) Blenman; step-grandchildren, Jon (Julie) Bodine, Kenneth Bodine Jr., Stephanie (Dennis) Devine, Justin (Amy) Barlow, Karie (Brad) Free, Trina Barlow, and Trevor Barlow; great-grandchildren, Jilian and Ethan Fox; and 13 step-great-grandchildren; her sibling, Sister Theresa White, Humility of Mary, Grand Island, Neb.; sisters-in-law, Lucille Buckley of Ashtabula, and Charlotte White of Conneaut; and nieces and nephews, Sister Therese Ann Rich, Order of St. Ursula, Cathy Loomis, Paul Rich, Judy Kirkbaumer, John White, Sandy White-Simpson, and Bonnie Harris.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10 a.m., Tuesday, June 3rd, at Our Lady of Peace, St. Joseph Church, 3312 Lake Ave., Ashtabula, with the Rev. Raymond Thomas presiding. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery in Ashtabula.

A Calling Hour will be observed from 9 a.m. on Tuesday, at St. Joseph Church until time of Service at 10 a.m.
