WARREN — Harry E. Knapp, age 59, of Ashtabula, passed away peacefully, Saturday, May 18, 2013, at Vibra Hospital in Warren Ohio.
Born August 21, 1953, in Ashtabula, Ohio, the son of the late Clarence E. and Viola (Parmley) Knapp and had been a lifelong area resident. A Veteran of the U.S. Army, serving from 1976-1982.
He worked for some years at Coca Cola foods in Geneva. He was affiliated with Catholic Charities and was previously a member of the Geneva VFW.
Harry is survived by his sisters, Arlene (Bill) Hayes of Carrollton and Ada Downen of Texas; longtime companion, Lola Brummitt of Ashtabula; and nieces and nephews, Lisa (Jeff) Ferl, Tabitha McHan, Laurie Higgins, Tommi Jo Hayes, Wade Hayes, Farrell Weger and Harrry Weger.
He was preceded in death by his parents and grandparents.
Funeral Services will be held 1 p.m., Wednesday, May 22nd, at ZABACK-WILLIAMS-DUCRO FUNERAL HOME, 500 W. Prospect Ave., with Pastor Kenneth Roberts, of Pentecostal Church of God officiating. Burial will follow at Edgewood Cemetery.
Calling Hours will be held from 12 p.m. until time of Service, Wednesday, at the Funeral Home.
