GENEVA — Beatrice “Bea” Kingery, age 88, of Geneva, passed away Tuesday, May 7, 2013, at Geneva Village Retirement Community.
She was born May 31, 1924, in Cleveland, to Marie (Ziska) and Richard Barker. Beatrice served in the U.S. Navy during WWII where she met her husband Carl J.
She loved music and played the keyboard and harmonica. Beatrice was a homemaker and provider who enjoyed traveling, square dancing, clogging, and above all taking care of her family.
She is survived by sons, James (Elaine) Kingery, Keith (Deborah) Kingery, Chris (Kathy) Kingery and Pat (Teddy) Kingery; daughter, Amanda (Larry) Luoma; brother, Don (Wilma) Barker; sister, Marcia (Richard) Vangunten; 16 grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Carl J. Kingery; son, Paul Kingery; brother, Art Barker; and a sister, Joan Svoboda.
Family services will be announced at a later date and held at All Souls Cemetery, Chardon, Ohio.
