GENEVA — David George Deutsch, age 64, of North Ridge East, passed away peacefully Friday, April 26, 2013, at his home.
He was born Feb. 24, 1949, in Cleveland, the son of William and Rita Anne (Schnee) Deutsch and had been an area resident since 1986. A Veteran of the U.S. Army, he served during the Vietnam War and received several medals upon being honorably discharged.
For the past 20 years, he worked at Worthington Industries in Jefferson as a press operator.
A member of the Bible Baptist Church for 20 years, David enjoyed cars, fishing, painting, drawing, and The Three Stooges.
His survivors include his wife, Susan Marie (Todd), whom he married Feb. 23, 1979; two children, Cinnamon Deutsch of Houston, Texas and Tobias (Tessa) Deutsch of Geneva; and two brothers, Marty (Kim) Deutsch of Geneva and Denny Deutsch of Arizona.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
A Calling Hour will be held from 10 to 11 a.m., with a Service to follow at 11 a.m., Wednesday, May 1st, at Bible Baptist Church, 4448 N. Ridge Road West, Ashtabula. Pastor Larry Emery will officiate. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memory Gardens Cemetery, North Kingsville, with Full Military Honors provided by the Geneva VFW Post #6846 Honor Guard.
