PIERPONT — Paul F. Vilar, age 67, of Pierpont, Ohio, died unexpectedly at his home Thursday morning, Jan. 31, 2013, of a probable coronary.
Born Oct. 6, 1945, in Warren, Ohio, he was the son of Frank and Mary (Lopilio) Vilar.
Paul was employed in security at ARS in Cleveland and the Cuyahoga County Sheriff’s Department teaching classes on how to use small fire arms.
He enjoyed hunting and reading.
Survivors include his wife, Nancy (Lessner) Vilar of Pierpont, whom he married Feb. 13, 1971; three step-daughters, Robin (Gordon) Prudhoe, Suzanne (Guy) Cad and Rebecca (Dave) Pollock; three sons, Paul, Patrick and Neil; a sister, Nanmarie Vilar; and a brother, Michael Vilar; as well as numerous grandchildren, niece, nephews and more distant relatives.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
A time of fellowship will be held Sunday, Feb. 17th, from 2 to 4:30 p.m. at the Chardon Christian Fellowship, 401 S. Hambden St., Chardon, Ohio 44024.
