ASHTABULA — Margaret Licate Imbrogno Brown, age 91, of Ashtabula, died Sunday Dec. 23, 2012, at Saybrook Landing.
Born July 14, 1921, in Ashtabula, she was the daughter of Luciano and Mary Licate.
Mrs. Brown retired from Carlisle’s after 25 years of service. She was devoted to her family. Margaret had pride in baking for her family and friends and also for her flowers and small garden.
Survivors include her sons, Warren E. (Barbara) Brown and Michael K. (Debra) Brown, both of Ashtabula; daughters, Elaine (Fred) Truesdell of Mentor and Mary (William) Ferguson of Ashtabula; grandchildren, Timothy (Kimberly) Brown, Christina (Ben) Meola, Melissa (John) Zarbo, Angela Julian, Sara Truesdell, Amy Brown, Zachary Brown and Mark Ferguson; and six great-grandchildren, Matthew, Jacob and Rachel Brown, Benjamin and Joseph Meola, Andrew Zarbo and Bonnie Julian.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 64 years, Elviro Brown; brothers, Anthony, Angelo, James and Joseph Licate; and sisters, Pauline Caruso and Grace Roskovics.
Funeral Mass will be celebrated 11 a.m., Wednesday, Dec. 26th, in Our Lady of Peace Parish, Mother of Sorrows Church, with burial to follow in Saint Joseph Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 9 to 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, prior to the Mass, at GUERRIERO FUNERAL HOME, 1550 W. 19th St., Ashtabula.
