BURTON TOWNSHIP —
Mary Ellen Mullet, age 81, of Burton Township, Ohio, went home to be with Jesus on Wednesday morning, April 30, 2014.
Born on April 7, 1933, in Plain City, Ohio, she was the daughter of John and Lovina (Miller) Yutzy. Mary married D. Ray Mullet at the Maple View Mennonite Church on June 18, 1955, and lived in this area over 60 years.
She was a member of the Maple View Mennonite Church in Burton since 1953; she was very active in the church functions.
She was a Bus Driver for the Berkshire School District for 25 years and retired in 1992.
Her hobbies included quilting, puzzles, flower gardening and traveling, especially going to the Smoky Mountains. She loved playing games with the grand kids.
She will be missed dearly by her friends and family; her beloved husband, D. Ray Mullet of 58 years; her loving children, Robert Mullet of Burton, David (Barb) Mullet Jr. of Middlefield and Deborah Mullet of Mentor; six grandchildren, Mary Elizabeth (Richard) Larson, Amberlee Mullet, Michael Polson, Jacob Mullet, Esther Polson and Sara Mullet; and 1 great-grandchild, Xavier.
She was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers, Wayne, Orris and Ervin Yutzy; and three sisters, Betty Jane Yutzy, Tena Barkman and Wilma Yutzy.
A Celebration of Life will be held 11 a.m., Saturday, May 3rd, at Maple View Mennonite Church, 14890 Burton Windsor Road, Burton, Ohio. Pastor Ernie Francis will officiate.
Visitation will be held Friday, May 2nd, from 5 to 9 p.m. at the Church. Burial will be at Maple View Cemetery.
