PIERPONT — Jean Cork Ensman, age 80, of Pierpont, Ohio, died Monday morning, June 17, 2013, at her home.
Born Sept. 10, 1932, in Pierpont, she was the daughter of Clarence and Leota (Sheppard) Cork.
Jean was employed as office manager at Moses Stop N Stop retiring in 1991.
She enjoyed traveling, dancing, golfing, bowling, raising pigmy goats, being with her family, and traveling on Amtrak with her companion Ed Kemp.
Survivors include her companion of 30 years, Ed Kemp of Pierpont, Ohio; two daughters, Terri (Mark) Scardino of Ashtabula, Ohio, and Brenda Ensman of Conneaut, Ohio; four sons, Darrell (Elizabeth) Ensman of Kingsville, Ohio, Ed Ensman of Atco, N.J., Tim Ensman of Ashtabula, Ohio, and Tom (Lynn) Ensman of Franklinville, N.J.; her brother, Russell (Kay) Cork of Pierpont, Ohio; three step-children, Jay (Joyce) Kemp of Tennessee, Randy (Karen) Kemp of Arkansas, and Bonnie (Mike) Lilly of Tennessee; 10 grandchildren, Melanie (Mike) Joslin of Conneaut, Ohio, Bill (Heather) Izzi of Conneaut, Ohio, Stacy Ensman (Ron Milane) of New Jersey, Vicki Ensman of New Jersey, Tommy (Toni) Ensman of New Jersey, Cassie (Allan) Ensman Eckenrode of Pennsylvania, Lindsey Ensman of Kingsville, Ohio, Scott Ensman of New Jersey, Teresa Ensman of New Jersey, and Ashley Ensman of New Jersey; and 12 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Lawrence and Howard Cork.
A Celebration of Life Gathering will be held from 5 to 7 p.m., on Friday, June 21st, at the MARCY FAMILY CENTER, 180 Harbor St., Conneaut, Ohio. Private burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Pierpont, Ohio.
