KINGSVILLE — Robert A. Anderson, age 57, of Kingsville, Ohio, died unexpectedly Sunday, June 9, 2013, at his home.
He was born Nov. 22, 1955, in Geneva, Ohio, the son of Carl J. and Maggie (Dimitroff) Anderson and had been a life time area resident. He was a graduate of Edgewood High School and received his Bachelor’s Degree from Kent State University in Geology.
He was self employed as a geologist specializing in Gas & Oil exploration. He was a Veteran of the United States Navy serving in the 1970’s.
He was a member of the Ashtabula Yacht Club and American Legion Post #103. He enjoyed sailing, snow skiing, traveling and hunting.
Surviving him are his mother, Maggie Anderson of Ashtabula; a brother, Charles (Karen) Anderson of Concord, N.C.; a nephew, Karl Anderson; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his father, Carl in 2010.
A Memorial Service will be held 11 a.m., Tuesday, June 25th, at the Ashtabula Home of FLEMING & BILLMAN FUNERAL DIRECTORS, 526 W. Prospect Road, Ashtabula, with the Rev. Dr. Michael Meranda, of Messiah Lutheran Church, officiating. Burial will take place later at Edgewood Cemetery.
Calling Hour will be Tuesday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of Service at the Funeral Home.
