MORGAN TOWNSHIP — Wanda L. Schommer, age 65, of Theil Road, Morgan Township, died Thursday afternoon, April 11, 2013, at University Hospitals Main Campus in Cleveland.

She was born Dec. 17, 1947, in Cleveland, the daughter of Walter and Sara (Utterback) Hughes. She was a graduate of Euclid High School. Mrs. Schommer had lived in the Rock Creek and Jefferson area since 1975 after coming from Clevealnd.

Her pastimes included feeding and watching the birds and wildlife, bonfires, sewing, Rock & Roll music and was known as the “Jeopardy Queen”.

Survivors include her husband, Gary R. Schommer, whom she married on May 28, 1994 in Rock Creek; a daughter, Melissa L. Johnson of Rock Creek; and her granddaughter, Maggie Johnson.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her first husband, Phillip Dutko; and four brothers, Bill, Bob, Jimmy and Tom Hughes.

A Celebration of Life for Mrs. Schommer will be announced and held at a later date.
