CONNEAUT — Michael T. Jackson, age 48, of Conneaut, Ohio, died unexpectedly Monday evening, July 27, 2009, at UH-Conneaut Medical Center of a probable coronary.

He was born Sept. 18, 1960, in Conneaut, the son of Richard L. and Ann (Nejbauer) Jackson.

A lifelong Conneaut resident, Michael had been employed at The Illuminating Company for 27 years. He was a member of the former Lakeview United Methodist Church, the Conneaut Moose Lodge, the Conneaut Eagles Club, the electrical union Local #270 and was a former member of American Legion Cowle Post #151.

He enjoyed being a father, riding his Harley, off-roading, camping, being with friends and watching his son race. He was an avid hunter and enjoyed hunting with his son and spending time with his family.

Survivors include his mother, Ann Jackson Lewis (Jack) of Conneaut, Ohio; his fiancée, Lynn L. Rebera of Conneaut; his son, Michael R. “Mikey” Jackson of Conneaut; his sister, Patricia A. Guerini of Albion, Pa.; two brothers, Timothy R. Jackson and Mark A. Jackson, both of Conneaut; aunt, JoAnne Michaels of California; uncle, Mike Nejbauer of Philadelphia, Pa.; nieces, Brittany Jackson of Twinsburg, Ohio, Bekki Jackson of Conneaut, Jess Guerini of Geneva, Ohio and Amanda Jackson of Conneaut; two great-nephews, Aiden and Trevor Jackson; and two cousins, Tammy and Amy.

He was preceded in death by his father, Richard L. Jackson in 2000; a brother, Thomas L. Jackson; and a nephew, Tommy Guerini.

Funeral Services will be 10:30 a.m., Friday, July 31st, at the MARCY FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATION CENTER, 208 Liberty St., Conneaut, Ohio, with the Rev. David Miller, former pastor of Lakeview United Methodist Church and Pastor Jan Walsh, of New Leaf United Methodist Church, officiating. Burial will be in East Conneaut Cemetery.

Friends may call at the Funeral Home from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m., Today, July 30th.
