GENEVA — Kenneth J. Takacs Jr., age 45, of North Ridge Road West, Geneva, Ohio, died Sunday, April 13, 2014, at his home.
Born Dec. 16, 1968, in Cleveland, Ohio, he was the son of Kenneth J. and Catherine (Brown) Takacs Sr. and has been a lifetime area resident. He was a 1987 graduate of Geneva High School and received his Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from Kent State University.
He enjoyed skiing, camping, golf, hiking, bicycling and being outdoors. He loved music and being with his family and friends.
Surviving him are his wife, Shannon Takacs, whom he married June 20, 2009; his mother, Catherine Takacs of Geneva; three step-children, Zack Kiser of Colorado Springs, Colo., Jade (Kyle Brass) Coffee of Harpersfield and Adam Elly of Geneva; and his brother, Kelly Takacs of Painesville; his brother-in-law, Steve (Julie) Kiser, a nephew, Matthew Kiser, and a niece, Cassie Cates, all of Asheboro, N.C.; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Funeral Services are 1 p.m., Friday, April 18th, at the Geneva Home of FLEMING & BILLMAN FUNERAL DIRECTORS & CREMATORY, INC., 323 S. Broadway, Geneva, with the Rev. Bruce Hitchcock, of the Geneva United Methodist Church, officiating. Burial will be in Arcola Cemetery in Madison.
Calling Hours will be Friday from 11 a.m. until the time of Service at the Funeral Home.
