CHESTER, S.C. — Keith D. Brown, age 47, of Chester, S.C., passed away Tuesday, April 23, 2013, at Caromont Regional Medical Center in Gastonia, N.C.
Born Oct. 20, 1965, in Richmond Heights, Ohio, he had lived in Geneva and Mentor before moving to South Carolina.
Mr. Brown was an Industrial Maintenance Mechanic at Al-Fe Heat Treating in Charlotte, N.C. for five years and prior to that had worked at Euclid Heat Treating in Ohio for 16 years. Hobbies of his included racing stock cars at the Painesville Speedway, bowling at Sonny Lanes in Geneva and lending a helping hand to everyone he knew.
Survivors are his wife, Veronica Wade of Chester, S.C.; step-children, Ronald Brooks and Caszimer “Nikki” Czuchra; and a step-grandchild, Erica Czuchra. He is also survived by his brother, Clayton Brown Jr.; and many other family members.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Clayton M. Brown Sr. and Elizabeth Brown.
Funeral Service will be held 11 a.m., Tuesday, at BRUNNER SANDEN DEITRICK FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTER, 8466 Mentor Ave., Mentor.
The family will receive friends from 5 to 9 p.m., Monday, at the Funeral Home. Interment will be in Western Reserve Memorial Gardens, Chester Township, Ohio.
