Scott J. Rembacki

CLEVELAND — Scott Joseph Rembacki, age 48, died Monday, Sept. 9, 2013, at University Hospital, Case Western Campus surrounded by family and friends.

The son of Charles and Patricia (Hinebaugh) Rembacki, he was born June 1, 1965, in Geneva, Ohio and had returned to the Geneva area after living in Texas for several years. Scott was a graduate of Scottsdale Arizona High school; he attended Geneva Schools for many years and remained in close contact with his Geneva friends.

He was employed by Little Caesars Pizza for eleven years; the last two years were as an assistant manager at the West Prospect Road location in Ashtabula.

He loved his family and friends and was always willing to help in any way that he could. Scott was the best uncle his nieces and nephews could have. He was a kid at heart and enjoyed their company.

He is survived by his mother, Patricia Rembacki of Belton, Texas; siblings, Kevin and Alicia Rembacki of Texas, Brian and Betty Rembacki of Dayton, Ohio, Alan and Barb Rembacki of Texas, Vivian and Larry Phillips of Oklahoma, Mariam and Marvin Milliken of Texas, Eric and Val Rembacki of Oklahoma, Stacey and Jim Brewers of Texas and Dee and Harry Spore of Texas; sister-in-law, Patty Rembacki of Texas; many loving nieces and nephews; also, Tifanie (Hunt) Collazo, his close friend since grade school. He cared for his nephew Alan Rembacki whom he loved as a son.

He was preceded in death by his father, Charles Rembacki; and his brother, Chuck Rembacki; his grandparents, Mary and Frank Rembacki and Mary and Steve Gladish.

Calling Hours will be observed from 5 to 7 p.m., Wednesday, Sept. 11th, at DUCRO FUNERAL SERVICES AND CREMATORY, 4524 Elm Ave., Ashtabula, Ohio.

Funeral Services will be held in Texas at a later date and will be announced.

If desired, donations to Scott’s family would be welcome and can be sent in care of the funeral home.
