Cherie Lynn LaForce, age 45, of Thistlewood Court, died unexpectedly Tuesday, Oct. 9, 2012, at Ashtabula County Medical Center
She was born April 3, 1967, in Mentor and had been an Ashtabula resident since 1998, after living most of her life in Madison.
A graduate of Madison High School, she worked for Dillard’s at the Mentor Mall for 8 years and had been employed at the Ashtabula Walmart for the past 10 years. Although she was a private person, she had many friends, loved cats and enjoyed surfing the internet and watching reality TV. Her survivors include her sister, Colleen (Lee) Adams of Ewa Beach, Hawaii; two nephews, Maxwell and Emerson; her step-father, Myron (Nancy) Parker of Painesville; dear friends, Pam Peguit and Scott Monroe; and many cousins.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Joyce (Wirtanen) Parker in 1996.
Calling Hours will be held at DUCRO FUNERAL SERVICES AND CREMATORY, 4524 Elm Ave., Ashtabula from 5 to 7 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 12th, with a Service to follow at 7 p.m. The Rev. Scott Monroe will officiate. Burial will be 12 Noon, Saturday, Oct. 13th, in Madison Memorial Cemetery, Arcola Road, Madison.
