ORWELL — Carl L. “Rockie” Olah Jr., age 56, passed away August 31, 2013, at Cleveland MetroHealth System, Cleveland, Ohio, following a four wheeler accident.
He was the beloved son of Carl L. Olah Sr. and Carollyn J. Olah (Irvine), born April 18, 1957, at St. Joseph Hospital in Warren, Ohio. He was a life long resident of Orwell, Ohio.
Carl was a Registered Nurse with Priority Group Agency. He loved working with children and psychiatric patients. His passion in life was his little farm. He loved cooking, music, reading and learning new things. Spending time with his family, friends and his dogs were most important to him. Carl was a Life Bank Organ Donor.
He is survived by his father and mother; his partner, Ruth Ann Olp; sisters, Judy (Dwayne) Hayes, Kathleen Barbe, Valorie Olah and Rebecca (Rusty) Moody; brother, William (Leigh) Olah; six nephews; eight nieces; six great-nephews; and three great-nieces.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Joseph and Elizabeth Olah; maternal grandparents, William and Ethel Irvine; brother-in-law, David A. Barbe; and several cousins, aunts and uncles.
Visitation will take place from 6 to 8 p.m., Thursday, Sept. 5th, at PAINE FUNERAL HOME INC., 140 E. Main St., Orwell.
Funeral Services will be 11 a.m., Friday, Sept. 6th, at the Funeral Home, with the Rev. Kevin Horrigan officiating. Burial will follow at Orwell Township North Cemetery.
