LAUDERDALE BY THE SEA, Fla. — Margaret Butler, age 90, of Lauderdale by the Sea, Fla. and formerly of Ashtabula died on Monday, May 20, 2013, at her home.
Born Sept. 29, 1922, in Erie, Pa., she was the daughter of Louis and Josephine (Cimorell) Vetter. Margaret graduated from Ashtabula High School class of 1940. On Nov. 24, 1945, she married August Butler in Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church.
Mrs. Butler was employed at Saint Angelo Grocery Store on State Road and she was a member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church in Ashtabula and Assumption Church in Lauderdale by the Sea, Fla.
Survivors include her husband, August Phillip Butler of Lauderdale by the Sea, Fla.; son, David P. Butler of Sao Paulo, Brazil; grandson, Deivian Butler; granddaughter, Lenara Butler-Lima; and two great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and sisters, Marie Timonere, Evelyn Cimini and Josephine Valentic.
Funeral Service will be 1o a.m., Saturday, May 25th, at GUERRIERO FUNERAL HOME, 1550 W. 19th St., Ashtabula, with Deacon Richard Johnson, of Our Lady of Peace Parish, officiating. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m., Friday, at the Funeral Home.
