ASHTABULA — Sandra Jo “Love” (Pratt) Thompson, age 47, passed away Sunday, March 2, 2014.

She was born Nov. 8, 1966, the daughter of Lewis “Pookie” and Barbara Ann (Farmer) Pratt and had been a lifelong Ashtabula resident.

A 1984 graduate of Ashtabula High School, she worked as office manager for Skufca’s on State and previously had worked at the Ashtabula County Nursing Home and Godfrey’s Restaurant. Her pleasant and cheerful personality always made her successful working with the public.

Sandra was an active member of the Pentecostal Church of God, where she has made many friends over the years. She enjoyed computers, playing cards on Friday night, eating, and spending time with her friends and family.

Love is survived by her husband, Jeff, whom she married August 6, 2005; daughter, Haley Jo Thompson; two sisters, Pam Riffe and Tanya Anderson, both of Ashtabula; three brothers, David and Lewis “Pete” Pratt, both of Ashtabula and Dana (Madeline) Pratt of Fairfield, Ohio; her father, Lewis “Pookie” Pratt of Ashtabula; her caregiver, Chrystal Bartone; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

Sandra was preceded in death by her mother, Barbara Ann Pratt, and a son, Blake Ryder.

Calling Hours will be from 5 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, March 5th, at the Pentecostal Church of God, 2201 Cook Road, Ashtabula.

Funeral Services will be held 11 a.m., Thursday, March 6th, at the Pentecostal Church of God, 2201 Cook Road, Ashtabula, with the Rev. Kenneth Roberts, Pastor, and Pat Bartone officiating. Burial will be with her son, Blake, at Greenlawn Memory Gardens, North Kingsville, at the convenience of the family.

Memorial contributions may be made to the family to set aside for her daughter, Haley Jo.
