KINGSVILLE — Anna H. Klein, age 85, died Saturday, March 1, 2014, at the Ashtabula County Nursing Home.
Anna was born on July 26, 1928, in Ralph, Pa., the daughter of Ralph and Anna H. (Mesina) Zyman. She graduated from high school in 1946.
Anna worked for many years as a hair dresser and later as a waitress in the Pittsburgh area. She was a member of St. Boniface Church in Pittsburgh, Pa.
Anna enjoyed painting, embroidery and reading. She especially loved taking care of her house, friends and family and her miniature dachshund, “Brutis.”
Anna was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Richard J. Klein in 2005; and three sons, Richard, Russell and Robert Klein.
She is survived by her daughter, Anna H. and Kenneth Kempka of Conneaut; a sister, Jeanette of Virginia; brothers, James Mesina and Joseph Mesina, both of Virginia; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Mass of the Christian Burial will be celebrated 10 a.m., Tuesday, March 4th, at St. Frances Cabrini Church, 744 Mill St., Conneaut, Ohio. Burial will take place at National Cemetery of the Alleghenies, Bridgeville, Pa., following Mass.
The family would like to thank the Hospice of the Western Reserve for the care and compassion given to Anna.
