KINGSVILLE — Robert T. Frazee Sr., age 78, of S. Wright St., Kingsville, Ohio, passed away Saturday, Feb. 22, 2014, in the Hospice Center of the Erie VA Hospital in Erie, Pa.

Born Dec. 30, 1935, in Painesville, Ohio, he was the son of Robert M. and Lucille (Faulkerson) Frazee and was a lifetime area resident.

He was a 1953 graduate of Ashtabula High School and served in the U.S. Marine Corps from 1958 to 1961 as an aviation mechanic. He was employed with the CEI for 37 and a half years, retiring in 1993.

He belonged to several organization, The First Baptist Church of Kingsville; the VFW Post #943; American Legion Post #151; Life member and Past Governor of the Moose Lodge of Ashtabula; a life member of the East Ashtabula Club; and a member of the Marine Corps League of New Port Richey, Florida.

He enjoyed gardening, bowling, casinos, woodworking, and the Cleveland Indians. He also had been a Skate Guard at the Austinburg Skating Rink; a Cub Scout Leader of Pack #11; and Little League Coach. He loved his two Yorkies “Muffy and Roxie”. Most of all, he enjoyed his family and watching his grandchildren play sports.

Surviving him are his wife, Janet (Richey) Frazee, whom he married July 3, 1999; his son, Robert (Rebecca) Frazee Jr. of Geneva; three daughters, Shelly (Greg) Lyle of Kingsville, Tina (Tim) Breland of Kingsville and Debi (Scott Savage) Frazee of Hopewell, Pa.; a step-son, Michael Richey of New Port Richey, Fla.; six grandchildren, Jordan and James Lyle, T.J. and Jacob Breland, Derek Frazee and Dylan Savage; a step-grandson, David Richey; a step-granddaughter, Mia Richey; two step-great grandsons, Camden and Cavryan Richey; and his sister, Hazel (Jack) Cunningham of Heiskill, Tenn.

He was preceded in death by his father, Robert in 1997; his mother, Lucille in 1953; his step-mother, Mildred in 1994; his first wife, Elaine Frazee in 1997; a step-son, Patrick Richey in 2003; and two sisters, Ethel Mae Klinger in 2008 and Betty Ann Secchiari in 1993.

Funeral Service will be 11 a.m., Friday, Feb. 28th, at the Ashtabula Home of FLEMING & BILLMAN FUNERAL DIRECTORS & CREMATORY, INC., 526 W. Prospect Road, Ashtabula, with the Rev. David Hines, of the First Baptist Church of Kingsville, officiating.

Calling Hours will be Thursday, Feb. 27th, from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. at the Funeral Home.
