ASHTABULA — Shirley Dingess, age 75, of Ashtabula, Ohio, passed away Wednesday, Oct. 16, 2013.
She was born in Blue Sulphur Springs, W.Va., to Clark and Martha Bryant in 1938.
Retired from Rockwell Plastics, she loved being surrounded by family and enjoyed gardening.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Dock Dingess, whom she married in 1955; a son, Dock Jr.; sisters, Faye Bryant and Mary Eggleston; and brothers, Earnest Eggleston, Russel Bryant, Harrison Bryant, Dallas Bryant and Bobbie Bryant.
She is survived by brothers and sisters, Othela VanNatter and Opal Collins, Johnny, Burt and Guy Bryant; five children, Edward Dingess of Nelsonville, Ohio, Elizabeth (John) Loggins of Conneaut, Ohio, Barbara Dingess, Mark (Malissa) Dingess and Dallas Dingess, all of Ashtabula, Ohio; 13 grandchildren, John Jr. Loggins, Alana Walton, Stephanie Huffman, Jeremy Loggins, Stacey Dingess, Chris Loggins, Josh Martin, Amanda Martin, Michael Hunt, Shirley Perez, Angie Randolph, Brooklyn Dingess and Mariah Dingess; 26 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and a beloved nephew, Robert Bryant of Newcomerstown, Ohio.
