PIMA, Ariz. — Sherry Springfield (Ballentine), age 64, of Pima, Ariz., formerly of Andover, Ohio, passed away Friday, Sept. 27, 2013, unexpectedly.
Born Jan. 21, 1949, In Huey, Pa., the daughter of the late Merle Giles and Olive Dunkle.
She enjoyed spending time with the love of her life “Larry”. She also enjoyed fishing, camping and playing cards on the computer with friends and family.
Left to cherish her memory include her loving husband, Larry Springfield, whom she married Feb. 28, 2002; four daughters, Tracey Lovell (Billy) of Mansfield, Texas, Rebecca McCullough (Kenny) of Knox, Pa., Terri Armstrong (Andrew) of Burton, Ohio, and Tonya Gildersleeve (Curt) of Austinburg, Ohio; two sisters, Carol Van Kirk and Barbara Jones (Willis); three brothers, Richard Giles (Margaret), Merle Giles (Shirley) and Kevin Dunkle; 10 grandchildren, Hayden and Justin Lovell, Cody and Ashley McCullough, Kaitlin, Allyse and Emma Schneider, Justin Armstrong, Brandon and Justin Becker; two great-grandchildren, Nichole and Kolton Wingard; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Richard Ballentine; husband, Duane Offutt; and brother, Larry Giles.
Her daughters will be holding a Celebration of Life at 1 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 19th, at The Gildersleeve residence, 2140 State Route 307, Austinburg, Ohio 44010.
