CLEVELAND — Evelyn Ruth (Boytz) Kozlowski, age 91, of Perry, Ohio, passed away on Tuesday, Sept. 17, 2013, at Hospice House in Cleveland, Ohio.
Evelyn was born in Cleveland on Feb. 24, 1922, and was a graduate of Willoughby Union High School.
She had been employed at Fisher Foods from 1940 to 1950 and at Losely Nursery in the 1970’s and 1980’s.
Evelyn had been active in the Perry Recreational Softball League as a Coach and Umpire; a volunteer at Perry School and Mother’s Club for 15 years. She also volunteered with Lake County Jr. Olympics in retirement; and helped her son Joseph in home construction.
Survivors include her daughters, Cindy (Frank) Square, Casey Nichols and Frances (Charles) Cole; son, Edward P. Kozlowski Jr.; daughter-in-law, Jackie Kozlowski; 13 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and sister, Eleanor Miese.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 40 years, Edward; son, Joseph; sisters, Irene Hoyt and Jo Ann Galloway; and brothers, Charles, Frank and Bernard Boytz.
Calling Hours are from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., Noon, on Friday, Sept. 20th, at the POTTI FUNERAL HOME, 2726 Hubbard Road, Madison, Ohio.
Graveside Services will be 12:30 p.m. on Friday at Perry Cemetery.
