MONROE TOWNSHIP — Elaine (Orsborne) Auxier, age 51, of Bobey Road, Conneaut, Ohio, and formerly of Ashtabula, passed away Sunday, April 14, 2013, at the Cleveland Clinic.
She was born Nov. 26, 1961, in Ashtabula, the daughter of Berchel and Phylis (Wagner) Orsborne and had been a lifelong area resident.
She attended Ashtabula High School and spent most of her working life as a homemaker and caregiver for others. Elaine was also a notary public.
Happiest when she was barefoot, she loved the country (especially her long rides through the country with Kenny). She loved dancing the hillbilly stomp, country and blue grass music, and spending time with her family and her beloved Boston terriers.
Her survivors include her husband of 27 years, Kenny Auxier; her mother, Phylis Orsborne of Conneaut; her sister, Sandy (Dennis) Dix of Conneaut; children, Ryan Orsborne Sr. of Ashtabula, April Latorres of Geneva, Douglas Mayle III of Ashtabula, Nicholas Auxier Sr. of Conneaut and Jennifer Auxier of Ashtabula; nine grandchildren, Kayla Jewel Parker and Ryan Orsborne Jr., Mellinia, Pablo Jr. and Alejandro Latorres, Jerron Mayle, Nicholas Jr., Taylor and Ethen Auxier; her nieces, Paige and Morgan; and two half-sisters, Pam Shepherd of Kentucky and Kathy Kline of Parma.
She was preceded in death by her father.
Calling Hours will be from 4 to 6 p.m. with a Service at 6 p.m. on Friday, April 19th, at the DUCRO FUNERAL SERVICES AND CREMATORY, 4524 Elm Ave., Ashtabula. The Rev. Kenneth Roberts, Pastor of Pentecostal Church of God, and Connie Pelton will officiate.
