MADISON — James Michael Niederer, age 54, of Madison, passed away Sunday, Nov. 10, 2013.
He was born August 8, 1959, in Summit, N.J., to Mary Jane (Floyd) and Otto Christopher Niederer Sr.
A 1978 graduate of Madison High School, Jim had a great sense of humor and always loved a good practical joke. An avid outdoorsman, he enjoyed fishing and boating. As a quality control inspector, he worked for several years at Habco Tool and Development in Mentor and most recently Accurate Metal Machining in Painesville.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Donlin Niederer; sisters, Mary Jane (Edward) McGuire of Florham Park, N.J., Alice Elizabeth (Stephen) Putzer of Baldwinsville, N.Y., and Mary Catherine (John) Berly and Margaret Mary (David) Clawson, both of Geneva; and a sister-in-law, Lori Niederer.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Otto Christopher Niederer Jr.; and a sister, Susan Ann Walsh.
Family and friends will be received from 12 to 2 p.m., Tuesday, Nov. 19th, at THE BEHM FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 26 River St., Madison, Ohio. Memorial Service will follow at 2 p.m. at the Funeral Home, with the Rev. Thomas Hupertz officiating. Interment will immediately follow the Service at Fairview Cemetery in Madison.
