ROME — David J. Cortright, age 59, of Rome, Ohio, died Friday, Dec. 28, 2012, at Austinburg Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Austinburg, Ohio.
He was born Sept. 24, 1953, in Ashtabula, Ohio, to Edith (Phillips) and Manson Alfred Cortright. He was a 1973 graduate of Jefferson High School.
David was an inspector at Worthington Cylinders and enjoyed bowling, golfing and fishing.
He is survived by his parents, Manson and Edith Cortright of Rome; brothers, Daniel J. Cortright and Damon J. Cortright, both of Ashtabula; and sisters, Debra J. (Cortright) Norris of Geneva, Darlene J. (Cortright) Kubilis of Shenandoah Heights, Pa. and Denise J. (Cortright) Cavender of Madison.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Deidre Jo Cortright.
Friends will be received from 11 a.m. to 12 Noon, Thursday, Jan. 3rd, at THE BEHM FAMILY FUNERAL HOMES & CREMATORY, 175 S. Broadway, Geneva, Ohio, with a Funeral Service following at Noon. Pastor James Burnett, of Bible Baptist Church in Madison, will officiate. Final Resting Place will be at Rome Cemetery.
