LARGO, Fla. — Donald W. Walker, age 81, of Largo, Fla., died Monday, March 18, 2013, at Suncoast Hospice after battling a long illness at home.
Born on Feb. 6, 1932, in Ashtabula, Ohio, he was the son of Beryl and Wade Walker. Don was a high school graduate and served in the Armed Forces.
He was a foreman at Penny Dock Transport for many years.
Survivors include his wife of 58 years, Theresa Alice Walker of Largo; his son, Ronald Walker and wife, Angie, and their children, Gabriel and Christian Walker, all of Westchester, Pa.; three additional grandchildren, Danielle Higginbotham and Aaron and Adam Mihely of Jefferson, Ohio; two sisters, Shirley Miner and Roberta Loudenslager; and one brother, Edward Walker.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Renee Walker; his parents; a brother, Maynard Walker; and a sister, Joy Walker.
